Fish & Egg burger. Well impressed the very rare combination of good quality ingredients, nice friendly service AND a good price! Will definitely be going back for the same.

Good For The Price but nothing earth shattering. I've had their smorgasbord and fish n chips. often when i do get their smorgasbord it is a good value for money the value has faded slightly. with many price increases and the smorgasboard meat options can be a bit chewy at times but good fresh. But for feeding multiple people for an affordable price, you do get what you pay for, fish and chips the chips are not amazingly crunchy but well rounded their burgers are also usually really good too, I usually get the chicken burger, with a crunchy So decent so near perfect right no i have had quality control issues with some of their food chicken burger patties occasionally being as hard as a rock. or the fries might occasionally have too much salt. So because of that im downgrading my rating to a 4. good but I've had better food than this, compared to when I originally posted this review.

Ocean Star are the best fish and chip and Chinese food takeaway shop in the Hutt valley - no questions asked! Well done Ocean Star and it doesn't happen by accident but HARD WORK!

Great local fish and chip shop, with great value for money - particularly with the "special packs". Always lovely people. Aside from the special packs, also solidly rate the "super burger" :) Great "fish and chip shop"-style burger which is very solid. Many thanks from us :) Keep being awesome
